“Security: A Major Challenge for Higher Education Institutions”
The Jamaica Chapter of the Association of Caribbean Higher Education Administrators (ACHEA) will be launched on Friday, May 18, at 9 am at the Mona Visitors’ Lodge and Conference Centre, The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. Following the official launch, a Seminar addressing the theme, “Security: A Major Challenge for Higher Education Institutions” will be held.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mark Shields will be the guest speaker at the Launch. Other presenters at the Seminar include: Robert Finzi-Smith, Director, Safety and Security, UTech Jamaica and representatives from UTech and UWI, Mona students. The cost is J$3,000 for members of the ACHEA and J$ 3,500 for non-members.
