The Epidemiology Research Unit of the Tropical Medicine Research Institute (TMRI), UWI in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MOH), Jamaica and the Caribbean Health Research Council (CHRC), Trinidad and Tobago will host a Basic Research Skills Training Workshop from June 11-14. The Workshop will be hosted at the Mona Visitors’ Lodge and Conference Centre, University of the West Indies, Mona.

The Workshop is aimed at equipping participants with basic research skills and will cover areas such as choosing research topics, sample size, presentation of basic results, research protocol and design of data collection instruments.
