Post Graduate Credits From Courses On Ageing
Applications are invited for two online courses, Fundamentals of Ageing and The Clinical aspects of Ageing being offered through the Department of Community Health and Psychiatry in the Faculty of Medical Sciences for September 2007. The courses are led by Professor Eldemire-Shearer.
These online courses on Ageing are designed to attract university graduates of medicine, nursing, social work, sociology and persons with a keen interest in understanding the ageing process. Present students
who are studying at the graduate level may apply and use the credits towards their degree.
The Fundamentals of Ageing offers three credits. The Clinical Aspects of Ageing is a six credit course because it is divided into two parts and spans two semesters. These courses may also be taken by persons who qualify according to the above description are not current students but are seeking Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits or just empowerment for personal development
The application deadline is Friday, September 13.
