Dr. Verene Shepherd, Professor of Social History, UWI, Mona and recent Chair of the Jamaica National Bicentenary Committee, has been re-elected President of the Association of Caribbean Historians (ACH). Shepherd, who was Chair for the usual 2-year period, was asked to serve a further year at the 40th Annual Conference held in Suriname recently.
