The Faculty of Medical Sciences, UWI, Mona will host its 17th Annual Research Conference from November 12-14, 2008. This year’s theme is "Forensic Medicine: Birth, Life, Death...” The Sir Kenneth Standard Lecture will be delivered by Professor Burkhard Madea, Institute of Forensic Medicine, University of Bonn, Germany on Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Workshops, poster and oral presentations take place at the Main Medical Lecture Theatre located at the University Hospital of the West Indies on November 13 and 14.

Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentations at the Conference and should be sent via e-mail to fmsarc@uwimona.edu.jm and hardcopy provided and addressed to The Conference Secretary, Annual Research Conference Committee. The deadline for submission is Thursday, July 31, 2008.
