The University of the West Indies through the Office of Student Services and Development has organized Orientation activities geared towards new students running from August 17 -22. The Orientation exercise is designed to familiarize new students with the University campus, student development programmes and activities and to assist students in adjusting to university experience.

The Orientation activities begin with a special session for parents and/or spouses of new students on Sunday, August 17 at the Interfaculty Lecture Theatre, UWI, Mona at 8:30 a.m. Other activities scheduled during the period include presentations, campus tours, booth displays, rap sessions and a Freshers’ Fete.
