UWI Goes Cashless
The University of the West Indies, Mona, is embarking on a cashless payment system for various student-related activities across the campus. The initiative is being introduced on a phased basis and commences during the first semester. The Cashless system will kick off with transactions made at the Main Library and its branches. Students will therefore be able to make payment for copying, fines, printing and other services offered by the library via this cashless medium. This system is designed to provide students with an easy, safe and convenient method of payment.
In order for students to access this system they will need to apply for the UWI NCB Student Keycard Cash by completing an application form at all the library locations (Main, Science and Medical libraries), Student Administrative Services Section (SASS) and at NCB, UWI branch. The following documentation are required for application of the UWI NCB Student Keycard Cash: copy of a valid ID, TRN, names and contact number of at least one reference.
For more information on the UWI Cashless system please contact the Student Administrative Services Section (SASS) at 935-8252 or 935-8870.
