Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr. the Honourable Ralph Gonsalves, will deliver the first lecture in the Public Lecture Series being organized by the Department of Economics, UWI, Mona to highlight various social and economic Caribbean issues of public interest. His lecture entitled "Prospects for Economic Union in the Caribbean" is scheduled for Monday, November 3, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the Social Sciences Lecture Theatre (SSLT), Mona Campus.

The Lecture Series is being staged under the aegis of the Department of Economics, UWI, Mona.

The university community and the public are invited.
