The UWI, Mona in collaboration with the Scientific Research Council (SRC) will host a public forum on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 5-8pm at the Hilton Kingston Hotel. The Forum will address the topic: Novel Approaches to Agriculture and Agribusinesses. Presentations will be made by Dr. Monty Jones, Dr. Adewale Adekunle, Ralph Von Kaufman and Myra Wonperesis, members of a delegation from the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA).

The Forum will explore topics including: innovations in agriculture and agribusinesses, promoting stakeholder cooperation and technology innovation.

The Delegation will pay courtesy calls on key agriculture stakeholders and members of the uWI academic community while on their visit in Jamaica, which runs between Janaury 26-30, 2009.

 The public and the university community is invited to attend the Forum.
