Social and cultural anthropologists, sociolinguists, archaeologists, other anthropology researchers and students will also share on this occasion. Presentations will highlight issues related to masculinity in Jamaica, the bleaching phenomenon, crack dealers in London, Jamaican return migrants, Taino ancestors, the endangered languages of the Maroons, and the relevance of anthropology to law enforcement, health care and social policy.

Entertainment will be provided by the Dazzle Dem Dancehall Crew, and a steel pan performance by the UWI-based CARISMA (Caribbean Island Music Artistes).
