HIV/AIDS Activist Delivers Public Lecture at UWI, Mona
Dr. Winstone Zulu, visiting fellow at Ryerson University in Canada will visit Jamaica between April 16-17, 2009 at the invitation of the Office of the Principal, UWI, Mona. While in Jamaica Dr. Zulu will deliver a public lecture on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 6 pm at Chemistry Lecture Theatre (Chem 5).
He will also speak with selected groups at the University of the West Indies on HIV/AIDS. Additionally, Dr. Zulu will visit the Caribbean HIV/AIDS Regional Training (CHART) Network, Jamaica Centre and select HIV/AIDS support groups such as the Centre for HIV/AIDS and Educational Services (CHARES) and Jamaica AIDS Support.
Dr. Winstone Zulu is an AIDS activist and journalist. Dr. Zulu is a dynamic speaker and a powerful International advocate for support to HIV and Tuberculosis programmes.
The University community and the public are invited to the Lecture.
