The Faculty of Social Sciences at The University of the West Indies, Mona hosts another seminar in its public seminar series on Thursday April 30, 2009 at 6 pm at the Graduate Lecture Theatre (GLT) 3. The upcoming seminar is titled, “The Dilemma of Freer and Safer Trade: Coping with the Problem of Foreign Pests and Diseases in an Era of Globalization”. Dr Edward Evans, Assistant Professor and Associate Director, Centre for Tropical Agriculture, University of Florida will be the guest speaker.
