“Caribbean Environments: Perspectives, Practice and Policy”

‘Caribbean Environments: Perspectives, Practice and Policy’ is the theme of the regional environmental conference being organised as part of the Environmental Management programme at the UWI, Mona. The Conference is scheduled for July 7-8, 2009 at UWI, Mona.
The Conference seeks to offer a forum in which perspectives and issues surrounding environmental research, practice and the formulation and implementation of policy can be shared and discussed. The Conference features paper presentations, poster sessions, and roundtable discussions which will address diverse environmental issues, including environmental education, climate change, waste and pollution, tourism and environmental policy. The Conference is being funded by the Environmental Foundation of Jamaica (EFJ).
