Caribbean Culture and Media

The University of the West Indies, Mona through the International Programmes Unit and Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC) partners with Clark Atlanta University to host the inaugural Caribbean Culture and Media Conference. The Conference themed, New Technology: Media and Communication in a Cultural Context takes place on July 6-8, 2009 at the Mona Visitors’ Lodge and Conference Centre, UWI, Mona.
Local and overseas presenters will share at the Conference on several topics such as: Journalism, Converged Media and Caribbean History, New Media Technologies and Visual Storytelling.
