“The Jamaican Economy: Implications of the IMF Agreement”  is the titled of the public seminar being hosted by the Department of Economics, UWI, Mona in collaboration with the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ). The seminar takes place on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 6 pm at the Multifunctional Room, UWI, Mona.

The seminar will explore topics including: the Jamaica’s Economic Performance in 2009, Implications of the IMF Agreement, Fiscal Policy Issues and Prospects for Economic Growth: Short and Medium Term. Panelists will include Dr. Christine Clarke, Director of Economic Planning and Research, PIOJ, Darron Thomas, Lecturer, Department of Economics, UWI, Mona, Colin Bullock, Senior Lecturer, Department of Economics, UWI, Mona and Dr. Adrian Stokes, Senior Investment Manager, Jamaica Money Market Brokers (JMMB).

The public and the university community are invited to attend.
