“Flexibility and Creativity for Survival in the Global Work Place” is the theme of this year’s annual Career Expo organized by the Office of Placement and Career Services in the Office of Student Services and Development, UWI, Mona. The Career Expo which is scheduled for February 25-26, 2010 concludes the Career Month activities.

Mr. Cordel Green, Executive Director, Broadcasting Commission will be the guest speaker at the Career Expo Opening Ceremony on February 25, 2010 at 9: 30am at the Assembly Hall. The first day continues with booth displays providing broad-based career information to tertiary and secondary students from across Jamaica. On day two, the Expo will take the form of a Job Fair, where UWI students will be given the opportunity to network among prospective employers and employees.

The event is targeted particularly at tertiary and secondary students, guidance counsellors, teachers and private and public sector representatives.
