“Civil Society in Jamaica – Resignation or Resurrection?” is the title of the public seminar being staged as part of the Colloquium Series of the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES), UWI, Mona. The seminar takes place on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 2:30 pm at the Undercroft, UWI, Mona.

Presenters at the seminar will include: The Honourable Dwight Nelson, Minister of National Security; Howard Hamilton, QC; Horace Levy, former Lecturer, UWI, Mona; and Rev. Dr. Rodrick Hewitt, Minister of Religion, Hope United Church.

The university community and the public are invited.
