The UWI, Mona and the Embassy of the Republic of Colombia will stage a distinguished lecture titled, “1810-2010: From Solitude to Solidarity” Reflections on the Past and the Future of Latin America on the Bicentenary of Its Independence. The lecture which is a part of the Bicentennial Celebrations takes place on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 3 pm at the Neville Hall Lecture Theatre (N1), UWI, Mona. The lecture will be delivered by Dr Gustavo Bell Lemus, former Vice President of Colombia.
