“Funding Higher Education in Jamaica”

“Funding Higher Education in Jamaica” is the theme of the public forum being hosted by the Association of Caribbean Higher Education Administrators (ACHEA) Jamaica Chapter on Monday, May 10 at 2 pm at the Mona Visitors’ Lodge and Conference Centre, UWI, Mona. The guest speaker will be The Most Hon. Edward Seaga, Distinguished Fellow, UWI and Pro-Chancellor, University of Technology (Jamaica).
The forum will feature a panel discussion with panellists including: Dr. Peter-John Gordon, Economist and Research Fellow, SALISES, UWI, Mona, Jovaughn Neil, President–Elect, Guild of Students, UWI, Mona, Mrs. Lenice Barnett, Executive Director, Students Loan Bureau and Mr. Basil Waite, Opposition Spokesman on Education.
