The UWI, Mona in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce and Jamaica Trade and Invest will host a second symposium titled, "Two Key Types of Non-Financial Support Needed: BDS and Networking and Clustering". This symposium is a part of a series of symposia being held under the theme: "Creating a Policy Framework for the Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (MSME) Sector in the Jamaican Economy." The upcoming Symposium takes place on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. The final symposium in the Series will explore the topic, "Key Issues for the Future: Internationalisation, Innovation, and Intellectual Property Rights".

The Series is aimed at stimulating further discussions among key stakeholders on the policies that are required to foster the growth and development of Jamaica’s micro, small and medium enterprises.
