The 2010 University Singers Concert Season dubbed, “Ode to Prof” in honour of the late Professor Emeritus the Hon. Rex Nettleford has been postponed to June 9, 2010 at the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts, UWI, Mona.  The Concert which was initially set to begin on May 27 was postponed due to the prevailing security and civil situation affecting the Corporate Area and sections of St. Catherine, along with the imposition of a limited State of Emergency by the Government. The new date is however contingent on an improvement in the security situation and a lifting of the State of Emergency.
