The Department of Geography and Geology presents a “Rock Star” Camp on July 19-23, 2010 under the theme, “Practical Geography”. The 2010 Camp is geared towards high school students in grades 9-11. Topics being covered in the camp include: map reading, introduction to GIS, basic research and fossils. The event culminates with a presentation of the work done by the students. Other Camps will be offered by the Department throughout the summer for primary aged children between August 9-20.
