The Department of Basic Medical Sciences, Biochemistry Section, UWI, Mona and Jamaica Technology will partner to organize a “Robotics” Summer Camp from July 12-17, 2010. The camp is designed for children, 8-16 years. It covers the basics of electronic structure and components and will enhance the interpersonal dynamics and team building skills of participants. At the end of the Camp students will be introduced to the assembly of hardware parts for robots, design robots using Mindstorm and build and test electronic robots.
