The University of the West Indies, Mona hosts Orientation 2010 over two days, August 23-24, 2010. The event begins on Monday, August 23 at 10 am with an Opening Ceremony at the Assembly Hall, UWI, Mona. Orientation 2010 will entail interesting discussions, campus tours, rap sessions and an entertainment extravaganza. All first year students are invited to attend.

The Orientation activities are designed to familiarize first year students with the University campus, student development programmes and activities. It will also assist students in adjusting to university experience.

Orientation 2010 will also feature a special session for parents and other family members of first year students on Sunday, August 22 at 9:30 am at the Assembly Hall, UWI, Mona.
