The Mona School of Business at UWI in collaboration with the Spanish Court Hotel hosts the first lecture in its inaugural Breakfast Lecture Series on Friday, August 20, 2010, at the Spanish Court Hotel starting at 7:30 a.m.  The lecture will be delivered by Professor Obika Gray, Professor of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.  Professor Gray is Jamaican-born and the author of a book titled “Demeaned but Empowered:  The Social Power of the Urban Poor in Jamaica”.  

The Series is aimed at discussing topical issues among key stakeholders in a bid to arrive at practical solutions. The Lecture will feature international experts of Jamaican descent.
