The final seminar in the World of Work Series focuses on Entrepreneurship. The seminar will help participants to identify business opportunities and to create business plans. Dr. K’adamawe K’nife, lecturer, Department of Management Studies, UWI, Mona and Wayne Robinson, Executive Director, Quality Academy will be the presenters. The seminar is scheduled for Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 3 pm in Seminar Room (SR 10), UWI, Mona.

The World of Work Series is organized by Placement and Career Services, Office of Student Services and Development, UWI, Mona to provide UWI students with the requisite career development and planning and to assist especially final yea students in their preparation for the world of work. The Closing Ceremony for the World of Work Seminar takes place on Thursday, November 11 at 3:30 pm in the Social Sciences Lecture Theatre. The Grand Prize of a blackberry phone and Certificates of Participation will be presented to students attending the seminars.
