The Mona GeoInformatics Institute, Department of Geography and Geology at UWI, Mona and the Water Resources Authority will host a public forum on the topic, the Impact of Tropical Storm Nicole. The forum takes place on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 2 pm at the Physiology Lecture Theatre, UWI, Mona.

The event will feature presentations from The Water Resources Authority and Mona GeoInformatics in addition to a panel discussion. The panelists are: Dr. Barbara Carby, Head, Disaster Risk Reduction Centre, UWI, Mr. Ronald Jackson, Director-General, ODPEM, Mrs. Sylvia McGill, Director, Meteorological  Office, Mr. Basil Fernandez, Director, Water Resources Authority, Mr. Patrick Rose, Director, National Works Agency and Mr. Philbert Brown, CEO, Department of Local Government.

The university community and the public are invited.
