27th Elsa Goveia Lecture: The Modernized Caribbean and its Implications for Heritage Tourism

“ The Modernized Caribbean and its Implications for Heritage Tourism: The Barbados Experience” is the title of the 27th annual Elsa Goveia Lecture being organized by the Department of History and Archaeology, UWI, Mona. The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Karl Watson, retired Senior Lecturer, Department of History and Philosophy at UWI, Cave Hill Campus. The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 5:30 pm at the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts (PSCCA).
