UWI, Mona Climate Talks Continue

“On the trail of greenhouse gases - the changing role of the ocean in the climate system” is the title of the Climate Talk lecture set for Wednesday, March 2, 5:30 pm at the Physic Lecture Room B, UWI, Mona. Professor Leif G. Anderson, Professor of Marine Chemistry at University of Gothenburg, Sweden will deliver the Lecture.

During the Lecture he will explore discrepancy between air-sea exchange of carbon dioxide and oceanic uptake and the resulting impact such as increase water temperatures, coastal erosion and flooding.

The Lecture is a part of the Climate Talk Series organized by the University of the West Indies, Mona to increase awareness of issues related to the impact of climate change.
