The University of the West Indies, Mona partners with NCB Foundation to host the Michael Lee Chin’s Youth Leadership Series which begins on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 4 pm at the Undercroft, UWI, Mona. The guest speaker will be Honourable Michael Lee Chin, Executive Chairman of AIC Limited (a Canadian mutual fund), and the National Commercial Bank of Jamaica. The event will also feature performances from Jah 9 & Protoje and Cecile Black & Randy McLaren.

The UWI Leads (Leaders Engaged, Activated, Decisive, ready to Serve) Programme is a new, dynamic, cutting edge leadership programme focused on delivering a campus wide leadership programme focused on delivering a campus wide leadership development experience which challenges UWI students to begin to think through issues of leadership, personal development and community service.  The programme challenges students to develop their own personal philosophies of leadership and to begin to identify the distinctiveness of leadership within a Caribbean context.
