Mona GeoInformatics Institute (MGI), in association with the Water Resources Authority of Jamaica (WRA) and the Environmental Foundation of Jamaica (EFJ) will launch the book, “Water Resources of Jamaica Fact Book”. The Launch takes place on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 9 am at the Altamont Court Hotel.
 
The book provides details on Jamaica’s water supplies and resources and would be useful for students and teachers. The Fact Book covers several topics including the nature and distribution of water resources, water infrastructure, flooding, water supply and contamination.  The book launch takes part as part of a seminar for educators. During the Launch the EFJ will present several copies of the book to school representatives.
