The University of the West Indies, Mona has learnt with regret of the death of Mr. Kenton Williams, a second year student in the Faculty of Social Sciences.  Kenton was pursuing a degree in Accounting and Management Studies and was one of the recipients of the 2002/2003 Trafalgar Development Bank/German Investment Development Company Scholarships.  He was a resident of Taylor Hall and was actively involved in the hall’s mentorship programme and the chorale.  Kenton Williams was also a peer advisor and a member of the University and Colleges Apostolic Ministries.  The University community extends sincere condolences to his family and friends.  A Thanksgiving Service for his life will be held on Saturday May 3 at the Ebenezer Apostolic Church, Georges Valley, Manchester at 1:00 p.m.
