Public Lecture: ’Everybody Can Cross It’

“’Everybody Can Cross It’: Border Crossing and the Study of Foreign Languages” is the title of the public lecture being organized by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at UWI, Mona. The Lecture takes place on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 11 am at the Neville Hall Lecture Theatre (N1). Professor Antonio Tillis, Chair, Department of African and African America Studies, dartmouth College, USA will deliver the Lecture.
 
The Lecture will explore broad issues related to border crossings – crossing disciplinary boundaries, crossing geographical boundaries, political spaces and how this can be facilitated through the study of Foreign Languages.
 
The university community and the public are invited to attend.
