The School of Graduate Studies and Research at UWI Mona will host the eighth session in the Chat Bout Series on Tuesday, May 13 at the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts at 6:00 p.m.  The session will feature a presentation by Marjorie Whylie, Staff Tutor/Senior Lecturer at the Philip Sherlock Centre on the Mona Campus.  Her topic will be Composing Music for Dance.   Ms. Whylie is a well known music educator, composer, arranger, musicologist and bandleader, with expert knowledge of the music of Jamaica and the Caribbean.  The public is invited to attend.
