The University of the West Indies, Mona presents A Christmas Gift – one solid hour of entertainment for the Christmas Season – to take place Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 6.00 p.m on the lawns  across from the Assembly Hall, (Flagpole area).
 
The evening will feature performances by the various student societies attached to the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts. Hear your favourite Christmas carols performed by the Panoridim Steel Orchestra; thrill to the voices of the University Chorale and be transported by the musical dexterity of the Pop Society. There will also be performances by  the University Dance Society, the University Dramatic Arts Society and, appearing for the first time at an event of this nature, the performing group Quilt.
 
The concert is being sponsored by the Office of the Principal, in collaboration with the Philip Sherlock Centre.
 
Admission is free. All are invited to attend.
