The Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Child Health, Faculty of Medical Sciences, UWI Mona will host a workshop under the theme, Exploring our Children’s Potential on Friday and Saturday, June 13 and 14.  The workshop is designed for parents, medical professionals and other caregivers of autistic children zero to 5 years.    It is being organized in conjunction with the University Hospital of the West Indies and will take place in the Faculty’s Main Medical Lecture Theatre located at the hospital.  The two day event will focus on empowering participants with the skills and creativity needed to cope and work with their children.   For further information please contact, Dr. Maureen Samms Vaughn, telephone 970-0329.
