The Sports Department at UWI Mona will be holding another Summer Camp this year designed for children between the ages of eight and fourteen. The programme is called "Champions for Life 2003" and will take place from July 14 to 26. The objective of the camp is to use sports as a medium for teaching life skills and directing young minds in a positive direction. The sports offered will include track and field, volleyball, football, table tennis, netball, basketball and cricket. Other activities will include presentations by motivational speakers and sports personalities including Grace Jackson and Juliet Cuthbert.
