The Second William Dennis Memorial Lecture will take place on Wednesday, June 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Medical Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Medical Sciences, located at the University Hospital of the West Indies. The lecturer will be Dr. Charles Bagwell, Chief of Paediatric Surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University, USA. Dr. Bagwell is also External Examiner for the DM Paediatric Surgery Programme at the UWI. His topic will be Trauma in Childhood. The lecture is in honour of Dr. William Dennis who was Senior Surgeon at the Bustamante Hospital for Children and Assistant Lecturer in the Section of Surgery, Faculty of Medical Sciences, up to the time of his death in 1999.
