The UWI HIV/AIDS Response Programme hosted a ‘Training of Trainers Workshop’ for lecturers on the Mona Campus in May. The workshop was one of the first steps taken to develop a cadre of persons trained in delivering HIV/AIDS information within the UWI. The subject areas addressed at the workshop were Behaviour Change Communication, Teaching Methodologies, Life Skills and Sexuality. A series of similar workshops are planned for the Cave Hill and St. Augustine campuses in addition to the development of a resource manual to aid in curriculum development.
