The Faculty of Medical Sciences at UWI Mona will host a mini-symposium titled “Paediatric and Perinatal HIV/AIDS in Jamaica” on Monday, September 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The venue is the Main Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Medical Sciences. Presenters will include Dr. Maggie Feeney of Harvard University and Dr. Philip Goulder Oxford, University along with local faculty from UWI and the Jamaican Ministry of Health. The mini-symposium is part of an outcomes-based research programme funded in part by the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the Ministry of Health and the UWI.
