Dr Dario Henao, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Dr Fabio Martínez, novelist and author of the book JORGE ISAACS, both from the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia will present on “CULTURAL INTEGRATION BETWEEN JAMAICA AND COLOMBIA: JORGE ISAACS AND HIS NOVEL MARIA” at a Public Lecture on Tuesday, October 14 at 6.30 pm in the Multifunctional Room at the Main Library on the Mona Campus. The event is being coordinated by the Latin American-Caribbean Centre (LACC) in collaboration with the Embassy of Colombia. The Public is again invited on Wednesday, October 15 at 4.00pm to a presentation by the visiting lecturers on “CURRENT TRENDS IN LATIN AMERICAN LITERATURE” in the SCR of the Mary Seacole Hall of Residence. Parking is available at the Faculty of Humanities and Education parking lot (opposite Mary Seacole Hall).
