The Role of Religion in the Caribbean History
Professor Barry Chevannes, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences will be the guest speaker at the launch of the book The Role of Religion in Caribbean History – From Amerindian Shamanism to Rastafarianism. The book, which is written by Patrick “Pops” Hylton, will be launched at the Undercroft of the Senate Building on Tuesday, October 14 at 6:00 p.m. The launch will include a panel on the Role of Religion in Caribbean History and will include panelllist: Dr. Phyllis Green, Dr. Elaine Foster-Allen and Burton Sankaralli. The public is invited.
