The Instructional Development Unit, UWI Mona will host a series of Lunch Hour Discussions each Thursday, between October 9 and December 4 focusing on Course Design. The discussions will be presented in four parts and are designed to familiarize participants with the process of designing and evaluating courses. The next series will be on October 22 and the focus will be on Developing Course Objectives from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Other topics in the series will be Translating Objectives through Materials Selection on November 6 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Translating Objectives: Structuring Learning Tasks on December 4 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The series presenters will be Ms. Meta Bogle and Dr. Beryl Allen and will take place in the IDU Training Room (upstairs Interfaculty Lecture Theatre).
