The UWI Medical Alumni Association will hold its 7th Reunion Conference from November 4 – 8 at the Radission Cable Beach Resort, Nassau. The Opening Ceremony on November 4 at 6:00 p.m. will be under the Distinguished Patronage of the Governor General of the Bahamas, Her Excellency Dame Ivy Dumont. Chancellor of the University of the West Indies, Sir George Alleyne will bring greetings and the guest speaker will be the Prime Minister of the Bahamas, the Rt. Hon. Perry G. Christie. Highlights of the conference will be the Nigel Gibbs Memorial Lecture and the Reunion Banquet and Awards Ceremony on Friday November 7. Over forty papers and keynote lectures will be presented at the Scientific Sessions, which will be held twice daily.
