Jamaica Language Unit
On Friday, November 21 beginning at 5:00 p.m. the Jamaican Language Unit will host its first public lecture to discuss the issues relating to language planning and the popularizing of Creole in Central America. The lecture is entitled “The Creole Language Question in Belize”. The guest speaker will be Silvana Woods, a Belizean public activist and the venue is the Inter-Faculty Lecture Theatre (IFLT).
