The Department of Geography and Geology in collaboration with Innovison; Land Information Council of Jamaica; Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in School Programme, Ministry of Land and Environment will host GIS Day on Wednesday, November 19 at the Old Library, UWI. This is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with different applications of GIS in Jamaica and learn about how GIS is used by various disciplines, ministries, agencies, individuals and fields of research.
