Applications for Restructured Masters of Social Work Programme.

The Department of Sociology, Psychology & Social Work, UWI Mona, is now accepting applications for its restructured Masters of Social Work Programme. The Programme at Mona celebrated its 10th anniversary recently, and used the occasion to “fine tune” selected aspects of its offering. The Masters in Social Work now provides prospective candidates with an increased range of options including specializations in administration and management and clinical social work practice. There is also a new specialization in community organization and policy practice. This graduate level professional degree is available as a 3 semester (full-time) or 5 semester (part-time) course. Students will also do block placements in Jamaica or overseas in the summer. Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree in Social Work or another first degree with a diploma in Social Work from an approved university. Applicants should also have at least 2 years post qualification experience.
