Bachelor in Education Secondary (Distance) Programme.

The Faculty of Humanities and Education at UWI Mona is inviting eligible teachers in Secondary schools to apply for admission to the Bachelor in Education Secondary (Distance) Programme. This programme is funded by the Ministry of Education Youth and Culture and is a four-year, part-time, distance teaching programme focusing on ten disciplines. These are Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography, Computer Science, English Language and Literature, as well as French and Spanish. Teachers in the newly upgraded secondary schools as well as traditional high schools who meet the matriculation requirements of the University or have a teachers’ college diploma are eligible to apply.
