The Section of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Faculty of Medical Sciences, UWI Mona will host its Third Annual Perinatal Audit and Symposium on February 6 and 7, 2004. Guest speaker at the opening ceremony will be Dr. Parul Jayaker, a specialist in genetics and disorders of metabolism from the Miami Children’s Hospital. The Audit will take place on Friday, February 6 in the morning while skills workshops are planned for the afternoon. These workshops are suitable for trainees, doctors and nurses. The symposium will take place on Saturday, February 7 and the presentations will focus on problems of being born too soon. The Audit, workshop and symposium will all take place in the Main Medical Lecture Theatre at the Faculty.
