The UWI Mona, and the World Trade Organization’s, Institute for Training and Technical Cooperation, will conduct a Trade Policy Course for government officials of the English speaking Caribbean during the period February 2 to April 23, 2004. The three-month course is designed to help address the evolving needs of countries in the Caribbean region for trade related technical assistance and capacity building. Ultimately this initiative is intended to assist in enhancing the participation of Caribbean countries in the implementation of the Doha Development Agenda arising from the November 2001 declaration of the Fourth Ministerial Conference in Doha, Qatar.
